The 2022 Super Bow halftime show will be historic
For some people the Super Bowl is a highlight on its own. For others, the highlight is the halftime show. I am one of those people. Don’t get me wrong, I am a sports fan. But, I am a music fan. And I love the glitz and glamor of the biggest stars in music coming together and performing together for one night on a stage where everyone in the world is watching and having a great time. For the Super Bowl 56 halftime show, it seems like it will be one to remember. The National Football League has just announced the halftime performers and if you know anything about hip-hop you’ll be a happy camper.
The Super Bowl halftime show for 2022
WOW! The Super Bowl will take place in Inglewood, California next year and it will be one to remember. Whether you are a fan of music or not, it is hard to disagree that music legends will be coming together to perform. The likes of Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Mary J. Blige, will be hitting the halftime stage to perform.
Dr.Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and and Snoop Dogg are all natives to the Los Angeles area.
Variety also reported that it is a big moment for the city since it is the first time the city hosts a Super Bowl in the last 30 years.
Dr Dre spoke about the event by commenting:
"“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career. I’m grateful to Jay-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”"
It will certainly be a big event with such controversy in the last couple of months and such a dark cloud with such trouble in the world as a whole.
