DC FanDome 2021 is already promising fans a hell of a line-up! This week DC announced the official date as well as what we can expect to see during the event. That includes a new trailer for The Batman, a first look at The Flash movie and so, so much more! I’m already fangirling.

On October 16th, fans of the DC Universe are invited once again to join them in this free online event. Last year saw announcements and trailers of all sorts – including our first look at The Batman that was still in production at the time. This year they’re promising much more! So what exactly are they going to showcase?

On the DCEU side, we’re set to see a new trailer for The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson. The first look for Black Adam is coming, along with a sneak peek at The Flash. We’re not done yet! We’re also getting a behind-the-scenes look at Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Be still my heart.

Meanwhile, the CW/DC verse are bringing their current lineup BatwomanThe Flash,  and Superman & Lois. There’s also going to be a tribute/farewell to Supergirl and a celebration of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s 100th episode. Naomi will also be there to give fans a first look and Stargirl fans will get a sneak peek at upcoming episodes.

Trekking into HBO Max territory, we’ll get an exclusive look at the upcoming Peacemaker spinoff starring John Cena and the limited event series DMZ. Fan favorites Titans and Doom Patrol are also getting their time to shine with “surprises and sneak peeks” promised. Hopefully, that includes the Black Canary film!

DC Fandome 2021 is packed to the brim with exclusives that fans won’t want to miss!

Are you out of breath yet? We’re only halfway through all of the excitement.

The animation side of things is showcasing the upcoming limited series Aquaman: King of Atlantis and will provide a sneak peek at season three of the adult animated comedy series Harley Quinn. We’re also set to see a very early look at the upcoming series Batman: Caped Crusader plus fans a first look preview of Young Justice: Phantoms. There will be spoilers for that last one so watch out!

They’re also going to be highlighting two upcoming animated films: Injustice, inspired by the popular game series and comic. The premiere trailer for Catwoman: Hunted will also be making its debut during the DC FanDome 2021 event.

On the gaming side, we’re going to get a better look at both Gotham Knights from Warner Bros Games Montréal and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League from Rocksteady. They’ll also be talking about the Batman/Fortnite crossover comic that’s sure to excite fans of the hugely popular gaming franchise.

Finally, they’re going to be celebrating Wonder Woman’s 80th year since her comics debut. This will include three books heading our way including miniseries Wonder Woman HistoriaNubia and the Amazons as well as Wonderful Women of the World. It’s unconfirmed but I’ll eat my hat if they don’t get a video message from Lynda Carter and Gal Gadot to celebrate the Amazonian.

Last year I had a lot of fun at the event. Not to flex but the cast of Wonder Woman 1984 answered my video question and it made my entire year. This event truly is for fans of the DC Universe and they prove it by making it free and this year – on even more platforms!

Fans will be able to watch from DCFanDome.com but also Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. There’s no way you won’t be able to tune in! (Unless life happens, which in that case I forgive you). Additionally, If you happen to have little superheroes at home, no worries because DC Kids FanDome will also be live streaming separately.

Next. Black Canary movie with Jurnee Smollett is officially coming to HBO Max. dark

Are you ready for all of these announcements, trailers, and sneak peeks? I’m already bursting with excitement with what’s to come, especially seeing a new The Batman trailer.
