In Season 2 of Roswell New Mexico, we got a look back at the past and how our aliens got here. This year, it seems we are learning about their heritage.

While Mr. Jones seems to be telling Isobel and Michael more about where they came from, he is also offering them a glimpse into who they are as well. And while this has only been teased by the end of episode 2, “Give Me One Reason,” does leave us with one whopper of a reveal for Michael Guerin.

Going into this episode of Roswell, we expected to see Isobel and Michael learning more about Max and how to save him. And while we certainly learned more about Max, we still don’t really know who he is.

But what we did learn is the truth of who Michael is! And it is a doozy.

Roswell reveals a shocking truth about Michael Guerin

Michael Guerin is not just an ordinary alien. In fact, he is someone special when it comes to the alien homeworld. Thanks to Mr. Jones’ alien history lesson, we learned about a man that he calls the dictator.

This is a man who seems virtually immortal, who was also willing to sacrifice his people. And while our favorite aliens’ mothers seemed to have been escaping the dictator when they crashed on Earth, it seems that there is more to Michael’s heritage than just being an alien refugee.

It turns out that Michael is the son and heir of the dictator. And if that doesn’t blow our minds, I don’t know what does.

It’s about time that Michael gets some respect, but hopefully learning about his heritage doesn’t twist him up and change him. While we expect great things from Michael, we don’t want him to suffer because of the truth. And when it comes to Roswell, it certainly seems like suffering is on the menu.

But what do you think of who Michael really is? Do you think finding out who his father is will be a negative for Michael? And why do you think Jones wants and wanted to help Max for real? Let us know in the comments.
