Some disappointing news coming out of the Charmed reboot as Madeleine Mantock will be leaving the show after its third season. What are we going to do without Macy?!

According to TVLine, the actress confirmed her departure right before the third season finale. Having been with the production since the season premiere, she made a very tough decision to leave.

Mantock made the following statement about her departure:

"Playing Macy on Charmed for the last three seasons has been an immense privilege and I have so enjoyed working with our fantastic producers, creatives, cast and crew. I’m incredibly grateful to The CW and CBS Studios for my time on the show and for being a brilliant support in my difficult decision to leave. Huge thanks to our fans who can look forward to, what I know will be, a spectacular fourth season."

This news brings a lot of questions forward as to how the show will continue without the third sister. First of all, how is Macy going to be written off the show? We assume she won’t die because the executive producers hope for her return. Though saying “one way or the other” is fairly ominous.

Will the Vera sisters discover yet another long-lost sister? The Charmed Ones only work with the Power of Three… so another one has to pop up, right? Let’s not forget about her relationship with Harry. Ahh! There are so many questions!

TVLine also noted that it is a very strange coincidence that Shannen Doherty also left the original Charmed after three seasons. She also played the eldest sister, Prue Halliwell, but her character grew up with her younger siblings, unlike Macy.

While it’s sad to see her go, I think most fans will agree with the crew in respecting her decision and wishing her the best of luck. Macy was such a well-rounded character that was always compelling to watch. All of the Charmed Ones are, honestly. However, Macy was the one who had to make the biggest shift in her life and she really grew into her own, making one of the best transitions in the series.
