Vin Diesel says he really wants to do a musical Fast and Furious movie
Vin Diesel might look like a tough guy, but he’s actually a big softie. Yahoo! Entertainment reports that during his appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show the actor revealed that he really wants to do a musical Fast Saga movie. This could be interesting to see. We know he has a little bit of experience in this field because in the movie The Pacifier, his character, Navy Seal Shane Wolfe, directs a school musical for one of the kids he is protecting.
He also told Kelly that he was so close to doing Guys and Dolls with Steven Spielberg. Vin mentions during the interview that his family is artistic and is very supportive of his career and his desire to do a musical of any description.

F9, the ninth installment in the popular Fast and the Furious franchise, was originally due out in 2020 but was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic and only just hit screens this month. There are currently two final films in the pipeline with the originally planned tenth movie being split into two films make an eleventh.
Will Vin get his wish of doing that musical? Possibly. After all, he is a producer on the franchise, so he has a lot of sway over what ends up being made. Plus, The Fast and the Furious has already spawned several spin-offs including Hobbs and Shaw, its upcoming sequel, the currently untitled female-led movie, and the animated Netflix series, Fast & Furious Spy Racers.
Only time will tell whether the Fast musical will happen and if it does, how will fit into the overall story that the films have so far portrayed. For all we know, if it happens, it might not even be related to the main franchise storyline. But, it’s wishful thinking, and if we’re honest, every franchise deserves to have a fun film with singing and dancing.
