Katia, who identifies as a lesbian, is the youngest on our list and has only been doing reactions for about four years, but has already amassed a solidly loyal viewership. Her reactions cover everything from the latest entry to the MCU to newer shows like Love, Victor, but her current favorite shows are The Walking Dead, Invincible, and Motherland: Fort Salem. Katia actually got her inspiration for reacting on another social media platform altogether.
“I think what inspired me to start reacting was when I did my live tweets during The Walking Dead, I would spill my theories and commentary on there and so many people would agree with me. And I thought, hmm what if I get on camera and actually do episode reactions with afterthoughts or theories that people can relate to and think to themselves, ‘Hey! I’m not the only one who thought of that.’ And that’s exactly what I did and the feedback truly has been amazing for these past four years,” she explained.
One of the things that make Katia such a good reactor is her emotional attachment to the characters. She really empathizes with what the person onscreen is going through. This is especially evident in her reaction to The Walking Dead‘s season nine episode, “The Calm Before,” aka the one with the pike scene. As each character’s death is revealed, you can see Katia getting more and more emotional.
