Fans can’t wait for the Fantastic Four to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now we have our first look at what Liam Hemsworth could look like as the Human Torch.

There are a lot of exciting projects in the works from Marvel Studios, but few have fans buzzing as much as Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four film.

Although we’ve seen the Fantastic Four take to the big screen a handful of times within the last few decades, fans have always dreamed of seeing what Marvel Studios could do with the characters if given the chance and we’ll soon see those dreams become a reality.

While a release date remains unknown, Marvel has confirmed the Fantastic Four are coming to the MCU in the near future and fans couldn’t be more excited to see who will be tapped to play the group’s iconic members: Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch and The Thing.

For the most part, all eyes have been on whether John Krasinski and Emily Blunt might suit up as Reed Richards and Sue Storm; however, another under-the-radar dream casting gaining traction is whether Liam Hemsworth might join the MCU as the Human Torch. After seeing The Hunger Games alum suit up as Johnny Storm it’s hard not to agree he’d be perfect in the role!

What Liam Hemsworth could look like as the Human Torch in the MCU

As speculation over who will be tapped to play the role of Johnn Storm aka the Human Torch in Marvel’s Fantastic Four film continues to grow, artist Diego de Sousa has provided fans with their first look at what Liam Hemsworth could look like in the role should Marvel cast him in the film.

In the jaw-dropping concept art, Hemsworth suits up in Storm’s signature Fantastic Four suit which seems to have drawn inspiration from the suits we saw in 20th Century Fox’s 2005 take on the characters.

What’s so magical about the concept art is that it allows us to see Hemsworth as Johnny Storm and the Human Torch with the art envisioning Hemsworth mid-transformation rather than in his full glory as the Human Torch.

If there was any doubt over whether Hemsworth could pull off the look of the character, the concept art should put those to bed as there’s no denying how incredibly suited he is for the character.

Will Liam Hemsworth join the MCU in Fantastic Four?

Although Marvel has confirmed Fantastic Four is in development and that the First Family of Marvel will soon be making their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios has not yet announced who will play any of the core characters. Because of this, it’s unclear whether Liam Hemsworth might join the MCU as part of the Fantastic Four cast.

Hemsworth might not currently be attached to play the role of Johnny Storm, but there definitely seems to be an interest from Marvel to bring him into the fold.

Rumor has it Hemsworth is on the shortlist of actors Marvel is eyeing for the role of the Human Torch and there’s no doubt he’d be perfect in the role. While Hemsworth has proved he can carry a franchise as seen in The Hunger Games, he’s yet to receive the chance to make his superhero debut and what better way to do so than by following in the footsteps of his older brother with a role in the MCU?!
