Following the news of Wynonna Earp‘s cancellation, a new trailer has dropped giving us glimpses of the show’s final six episodes, which will premiere on March 5.

While the popular show is being shopped around to other networks and streaming platforms, we now have an idea of what the final episodes of season 4 – and its time on SYFY at least – will look like. The stakes seem like they’ve never been higher as the group battles new threats to their hometown, and Wynonna herself struggles with the fallout from the events of the midseason finale.

There’s a lot to cover in this season 4B trailer, so let’s break down some of what is shown.

We start off with Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) looking cool on a motorcycle and being a hotter mess than usual by waking up buck naked in the local demon bar. Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) quickly catches us up by telling Wynonna that she is “hunting” all of the time now. It appears as though her mission to rid the Ghost River Triangle of its demonic inhabitants has gone into overdrive. Similarly concerned, Nicole (Kat Barrell) states that Wynonna is barely sleeping and that passing out is not the same as falling asleep.

Speaking of the lovebirds, one of the few happy moments of the trailer revolves around Nedley (Greg Lawson) and the gang toasting to Waverly and Nicole’s engagement. Viewers will recall that Waverly asked Nicole to marry her in the mid-season finale, with Nicole accepting the offer. However, it appears as though our favorite couple isn’t out of the woods just yet, as they are apparently thrown into more dire situations, with Nicole laying unconscious in the forest as Waverly runs to her side. Though we do get a little breaking of the fourth wall as Nicole pleads to Waverly that they need a wedding hashtag but decides that Wayhaught is “ridiculous.”

There’s also some vague talk about one of the sisters, either Wynonna or Waverly being in trouble, with one of them asking “What do you want with my sister?” This may have something to do with the apparent return of The Garden, last season in the season premiere in which Wynonna, Waverly, and Doc (Tim Rozon) escaped from The Garden, only to find out that several years had passed in the real world.

Other disturbing images include Rachel (Martina Ortiz-Luis) sprinkling dirt on a possible grave, Black Badge returning to their villainous ways while seemingly targeting Doc, and last, but certainly not least, is a shot of Doc pointing a gun at Wynonna. Oh, and it wouldn’t be a Wynonna Earp trailer without Waverly emotionally shouting “WYNONNA!” By the looks of things, we’re all going to be emotional as we await the fate of our band of misfit heroes.
