How to watch the 2021 Kitten Bowl and Puppy Bowl online
Super Bowl IV may be the biggest event of the day, but animal lovers won’t want to miss the annual precursors to the big game: the Kitten Bowl and the Puppy Bowl.
Happening side by side each year, these two pre-Super Bowl events see our furry friends engaging in competitions of their own — and seriously, it’s too adorable not to tune in, especially after a year like 2020.
On top of the cuteness, the Kitten Bowl and Puppy Bowl aim to get pets adopted every year, featuring kittens and puppies who need homes. We love a good cause, especially when it involves seeing animals find their forever families.
Here’s what you need to know about both events this year — and how you can tune in!
How to watch the Kitten Bowl
Who doesn’t love cats? (Okay, there are a lot of people, but we can pretty much universally agree that they’re wrong.) And Hallmark is capitalizing on the kitten cuteness once again to bring us the Kitten Bowl VIII, hosted this year by hosted by Beth Stern, Cameron Mathison and Tamera Mowry-Housley.
Although the event won’t be quite as big as in 2020, there will be 100 adoptable kittens participating in this year’s event. And we can’t wait to squeal over every one of them.
Here’s how to tune in for the Kitten Bowl:
"Date: Sunday, February 7Start time: 2:00 p.m. ETChannel: The Hallmark ChannelLive stream: Watch the Kitten Bowl live on Fubo TV. Sign up now for a free, seven-day trial. You can also catch the kitten game on Hallmark Channel Everywhere."
How to watch the Puppy Bowl
The Puppy Bowl XVII will showcase 70 adoptable puppies from shelters and rescues across the Northeast. ESPN’s Sage Steele and Steve Levy are the announcers for this rendition of the event, and Dan Schachner will serve as the “ruffuree.”
In addition to the game, there will be a kitty halftime show (so cat lovers and dog lovers can get the best of both worlds!) and puppy cheerleaders. It sounds like we’ll be rolling around from all the cuteness planned for this year’s Puppy Bowl, so you won’t want to miss that. (Unless you’re watching the Kitten Bowl, in which case, can we recommend flipping back and forth?)
