Looking for a new television series to get wrapped up in? Don’t worry. There are quite a few exciting shows debuting in 2021.

Twenty-twenty was an unprecedented year for the television industry, with the arrival of the COVID-19 health crisis bringing about production shutdowns and television delays unlike any we’ve seen in recent history. Luckily, 2021 is poised to make up for the past year with lots of exciting new series. (And that’s probably a good thing, since we’re going to be staying in for the foreseeable future.)

Disney+ subscribers in particular are going to have a solid year of television-watching, with multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe series hitting the platform and a new Star Wars show arriving. Of course, Cable television has a few fun series heading our way, with The CW adding to its reservoir and channels like NBC and CBS churning out new content. (And of course, exclusive channels like HBO and big-name streamers like Netflix will be adding to our watchlists.)

There are so many series to keep on your radar heading into 2021, but these are 11 we’re especially excited about.

WandaVision

Marvel’s WandaVision was originally slated to arrive on Disney+ this year, but a series of delays made the initial timeline impossible. Thankfully, the show wasn’t pushed too far back, receiving a January 2021 premiere date and giving comics fans an exciting way to kick off the new year.

The series, which is the first MCU show to debut on Disney’s streamer, will follow Wanda and Vision as they live out married life in a bizarre, sitcom-inspired world. Of course, the trailers — and the fact that Vision isn’t exactly supposed to be alive in the present timeline — hint that something isn’t quite right about this fantasy the characters are living out. And that seems to be the overarching mystery of the series, which looks every bit as chaotic as it sounds.

WandaVision is poised to bring both humor and emotion when it arrives on January 15, and after a long year without MCU movies, it’s exactly what fans need heading into 2021.
