27 thoughts I had watching Fear The Walking Dead 607

Fear The Walking Dead 607 is a beautifully creepy episode that sets up a high-stakes clash. Here’s our spoiler-free preview of the Fear TWD mid-season finale.

Fear The Walking Dead 607 wasn’t intended to be a mid-season finale, and it shows.

The episode sets up an impending clash that will change everything for both sides. But episode 608 wasn’t able to finish filming because of the pandemic, so 607 is serving as the mid-season finale. Fear TWD season 6B will return in 2021 with 608 as the mid-season premiere.

In 607 a lot of the threads that have been dropping throughout the season are tightening up. There are a couple of surprise moments and some fantastically eerie cinematography that make this episode a standout even when compared to the other high-quality episodes this season.

The synopsis for Fear The Walking Dead 607 “Damage From The Inside” sets up the episode:

"When Dakota goes missing, Strand sends Alicia and Charlie on a search and rescue mission to find her. Meanwhile, an unlikely ally provides a new possibility of escape from Virginia."

And there’s a preview of the episode that shows Alicia is still not happy with Strand for sending her away.

Relationships between the survivors have definitely been complicated this season, and it looks like some of them may break totally when everyone is forced to decide what kind of future they’re fighting for.

Here are some of the thoughts I had watching Fear The Walking Dead 607 “Damage From The Inside”:

1. What is Dakota’s deal? Why does this kid want to run away so badly?
2. It’s a trap!
3. Best title card this season.
4. Alicia is all of us with Strand right now…
5. This is definitely not going to end well.
6. Alicia! Nooooo
7. This would have been a perfect Halloween episode. Creepy AF.
8. Who is this effing kid and why is she like this? Dakota seriously what is your deal?!
9. As Carol would say, “I don’t know what the hell’s going on in the most wonderful way.”
10. That’s an interesting way to phrase that Dakota….. need to circle back to that.
11. SO nice to see Alicia back to being Alicia
12. I do NOT TRUST THIS GUY.
13. Damn Alicia is Cold. As. Ice.
14. CREEP AF AND I’M HERE FOR IT ALL!
15. Alicia is 100% Madison’s daughter.
16. YASS CHARLIE!
17. Those walkers are completely BONKERS. WOW.
18. SLAY HEDA!
19. Again I say, WHO THE EFF ARE YOU DAKOTA AND WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?!
20. Don’t do it!  You know this will end badly.
21. Wait – WHAT?! Does that mean…. Is this happening? Are they doing THAT? Could it be?

It’s disappointing that we will have to wait to see what happens but at this point in the season, it’s safe to assume that the glow-up Fear TWD has gone through isn’t a fluke. Every episode in 6A has been strong and based on what we’ve seen season 6B is going to be just as good, if not better.
