Passionflix reveals the identity of the new actor playing Colton Donavan in the Driven Series

After months and months of speculation, the checkered flag finally came into sight as Passionflix revealed the identity of the new actor who will step into the role of race car driver Colton Donavan in K. Bromberg’s popular Driven Series. Actor Michael Roark will bring Colton to life opposite Olivia Applegate’s Rylee Thomas.

Passionflix made the announcement on Monday after teasing images of an actor meeting with CEO and Driven director Tosca Musk. Fueled, the second installment of K. Bromberg’s Driven Series, is one of the many projects underway at the romance streamer now that work has resumed following the pandemic shutdown. The only thing missing had been the actor to play Colton Donavan.

Michael Roark has been acting since 2010 and there’s a very good chance you’ve seen him before because he has been in tons of television projects including guest roles on The Vampire Diaries, 9-1-1, Beauty and the Beast, Grey’s Anatomy and The Young and the Restless, to name a few. Not only is Roark a talented actor, he’s also a licensed attorney.

Meet The New Colton Donavan, Michael Roark

Roark can currently be seen starring in the feature film Bennett’s War, which is available on Netflix. Roark plays Marshall Bennett, a medically discharged soldier who attempts a new career in motorcycle racing to raise money to save his father’s farm.

Passionflix has been teasing Colton’s identity for a while now, revving fans’ engines as the speculation heads into the red zone at who the handsome actor might be.

Fans have been eager for the Driven Series to continue after the success of season 1’s Driven, a six-episode miniseries that follows the explosive relationship between Colton and Rylee. From the moment they meet at a fundraiser their chemistry is off the charts, but their pasts keep them from seeing why they’re actually perfect for each other.

With production currently underway on the next season of the Driven series, fans can look forward to seeing Colton and Rylee’s story continue at some point in 2021.
