Yes, you can now spend a night in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mansion

Thanks to Airbnb, we can get a wide variety of unique experiences when we travel. And the latest experience comes courtesy of Will Smith and the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air mansion.

According to the website The Loop, Will Smith has partnered up with Airbnb to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in a big way. And what better way is there to celebrate the series than by letting fans stay in the iconic mansion in Bel Air?

If you are anything like me, you’re already humming the theme song, packing your bags, and getting ready to call that yellow cab! Plus, with news that there is a reboot in the works, it just feels fitting that we might get the chance to actually experience the Fresh Prince mansion first hand.

Airbnb and Will Smith team up to let us stay in the Fresh Prince mansion

On the Airbnb website, Smith writes, “Ready for the freshest staycation ever? If this place looks familiar that’s because it’s just as fly as it was when I first rolled up the driveway.”

He then invites fans of the Fresh Prince for an experience unlike any other. Will Smith is giving us the keys to his kingdom, or at least his wing in the mansion!

The listing reveals that you will be staying in Smith’s bedroom and have access to that incredible bathroom, as well as the pool, dining room, and outdoor lounge area. And that’s not all, as there are some perks included in staying at the Fresh Prince’s crib.

Fans staying for a night also get a chance to play basketball in the bedroom, a turn at DJ Jazzy Jeff’s turntables, and even access to the closet that features some “fly” looks all on its own. And while you may not be able to kick it in the kitchen, your meals will still be served to you on a silver platter (of course).

In an era when COVID is limiting many of our usual activities, this is a staycation done in style. You will be the only one staying in the mansion and social distancing rules apply. But with so much to experience just in one wing, perhaps that is all well and good.

As someone who grew up watching the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and who has watched the reruns for years, this is the kind of experience that is beyond amazing. If I was even a little bit closer to Los Angeles I might try for this experience myself!
