Kim Kardashian announces final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2021
In an Instagram post this week, Kim Kardashian announced that the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians will arrive in 2021.
The popular reality television series Keeping Up With the Kardashians is coming to an end soon, according to Kim Kardashian herself. She shared the news on her Instagram account this week, revealing that the show’s final season will arrive next year.
“To our amazing fans,“ she wrote. “It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
The show will end in 2021, bringing the grand total to 20 seasons in 14 years. The statement announcing the show’s end was signed by Kris Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Scott Disick.
Following Kim’s announcement, Khloe also posted about the show’s final season, saying that her sappy post would come soon. Kourtney followed suit, posting about the finale on her Instagram story, and saying she would “gather her thoughts and share them in a bit.”
Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which first premiered in 2007, has given fans a closer look at the famous family’s intimate life, a part of their life you probably wouldn’t see on Instagram or any kind of social media. Fans have witnessed all of their ups and downs as a family, including viral fights and make-ups. Fans have also seen the growth of their family, from Kourtney’s first birth to Kim’s most recent. All of the cast members have grown up on the show, especially Kendall and Kylie, as they were only 11 and 10 years old when the show started.
The announcement is so big because the show has influenced so much of the Kardashians’ lives, resulting in spin-off series and a mobile game starring Kim. Kim acknowledged this in her post, saying she wouldn’t be where she is today without the series.
The response to the show’s final season has been huge. Many people tweeted how upset and shocked they are, with one person calling it the worst day of their life.
