WandaVision has officially wrapped filming, and the cast and crew celebrated the milestone with a party.

Marvel Studios’ first two television series for Disney+ won’t arrive on the platform until later this year, but WandaVision is officially a step closer to being ready for consumption. The second Marvel miniseries that will be released during its Phase 4, WandaVision wrapped filming this weekend, with crew member Taylor Grabowsky posting a group photo to Instagram to mark the occasion.

Judging by the photo, the cast and crew members seem to have celebrated wrapping filming with some sort of party, which is probably well deserved after working on WandaVision since November.

While fans have yet to see an official trailer for WandaVision, they did get a glimpse of footage during Marvel’s Super Bowl TV spot teaser — and the series looks every bit as bizarre as it’s been hyped up to be. Following Avengers members Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Vision, the series will see the pair in a strange sitcom-like universe following the events of Avengers: Endgame. Obviously, there’s more to the setting than meets the eye — but with plot details currently so sparse, it’s hard to say how the two ended up there. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are reprising their roles for the series, though it’s also currently unclear how WandaVision will fit into the MCU’s bigger picture (especially given that Vision is supposed to have perished).

It’s also interesting that this series has finished production before The Falcon and the Winter Soldier given that the latter is coming out in August, four months prior to WandaVision’s release. We can’t say we’re complaining, though. If production is over, a trailer is likely on the horizon — and there’s a good chance that will answer at least some of our plot questions about the series. Fingers crossed.

Next. WandaVision will be the MCU’s first real character study. dark

WandaVision will debut on Disney+ this December.
