The holidays are always magical at Walt Disney World, but the new Walt Disney World holiday celebrations are even more magical and memorable.

Even though real snow might not be falling, Walt Disney World holiday celebrations are going to be even more magical this year. While Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is always a fun event, this year’s celebrations have a little extra sparkle. More importantly, all the theme parks are spreading the holiday spirit. Are you ready to feel that merry magic?

For this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Minnie is going to add her flare to the fireworks display. The all new fireworks show, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, is set to be visually stunning. More importantly, the story will convey heartfelt moments of Christmas.

Throughout Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, there will be all types of celebrations. From holiday dessert parties to A Frozen Holiday Wish stage show, there is something for everyone. Even some of the classic theme park rides, like Space Mountain, will have a holiday twist.

Given that the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticketed event, guests want to have an over the top, holiday magic experience. Similar to the Halloween Mickey’s Not So Scary event, this holiday event is meant to have an extra sprinkle of pixie dust.

Even if you don’t attend the specially ticketed event, Magic Kingdom is magical during the holidays. From the giant Christmas tree to the decorations, the holidays are special at Disney. Sure, it might be 75 degrees, but you will feel the holiday spirit.

This year Animal Kingdom is adding to its holiday festivities. From animal puppets roaming around Discovery Island during the day to nighttime luminaries setting the sky a glow, there is a gentle reminder that that holidays are more about a feeling. These gentle visuals should create a lovely sentiment to focus on the connection between everyone and everything during the holidays.

Also, Animal Kingdom will celebrate other traditional holiday events. From African celebrations to Diwali, the Holiday Festival of Lights in India, these additions show everyone takes a moment to make lasting memories during the holiday season.

While Animal Kingdom often focuses the interaction of living beings and their environment, these holiday moments can be a subtle reminder to relate to everyone’s similarities over differences. Everyone is connected to the world around them and needs to have a respect for it.

In some ways, the holidays are a good reminder to take a moment and connect with everyone and everything. From learning about the planet to learning about a neighbor, the season could help to make an everlasting change.

Of course, one of the most beloved holiday events at Walt Disney World is the annual Epcot Candlelight Processional. From November 29 through December 30, Epcot celebrates the holiday both with traditional and modern approaches.

The Epcot Candlelight Processional has become a tradition for many families. From the celebrity reader who share the classic tale to the uplifting holiday music, this nightly event seems to capture the holiday magic every single time. If you don’t tear up a little, you might have a little grinch in you.

In addition to the Candlelight Processional, Epcot will feature a variety of holiday markets. These marketplaces feature some of the traditional holiday dishes from around the world. Whether you celebrate the festival of the three kings or another holiday treat, it is definitely a tasty exploration.

Lastly, Jingle Bell, Jingle Jam returns to Hollywood Studios. The nighttime projection show is fun way to end the day. While Galaxy Edge might not have a holiday theme to it, the area does offer a lot of holiday shopping opportunities.

Whether you are visiting Walt Disney World for the holidays for the first time or the 10th time, it is definitely a magical experience. Hopefully that visit will have guests remembering that the holidays are the time to be with family and friends, to make memories and to celebrate the happy moments in life. What better place to do that than the most magical place on Earth.
