The Good Place season 4 premiere preview: Let’s do this one last time
The Good Place returns for its fourth and final season this Thursday, September 26. Can the Soul Squad beat the Bad Place in this last experiment?
Ladies and gentlemen, we have come to the final season of The Good Place. It’s upsetting because this show is just so darn good, but it’s also OK, because good things can’t last forever.
Still, it’s going to be a sad day when new episodes don’t grace our TV screens anymore.
When we last left our crew, the experiment was starting all over again. The Bad Place got to pick the four new test subjects and chose Simone as one of the new test subjects — which meant Chidi voluntarily had his mind wiped and became the final test subject, losing all of his memories of him and Eleanor.
It was one of the more emotional finales, and it left us hurting for answers. Well, now we’re here and ready to get them!
Here’s the official synopsis for this week’s episode, “A Girl From Arizona, Part 1,” courtesy of NBC:
"With Eleanor assuming the role of the architect, the group adapts to the challenges facing them when four test subjects inhabit a new neighborhood under their supervision."
Everything is upside-down in this version of the experiment, and it honestly feels like it will all fall apart at a moment’s notice.
And this hilarious sneak-peek they just posted doesn’t bode well:
I feel as though Linda will be the bane of our existence with her blandness. Also, who else wants to see a disco Janet? Yes, please!
How much do we think the Bad Place is going to pull strings to make things fall apart this season? Honestly, with the four test subjects they’ve put in place, they don’t really need to do anything. They just need to watch Eleanor, Michael, Tahani, and Jason flounder and try to make everything work.
It’s going to be horrendous, hilarious, and everything The Good Place‘s final season should be.
