The new trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie paints a devastating picture of Jesse Pinkman’s current state of mind — and that’s likely what we’ll be dealing with during the new Netflix film.

We don’t need to tell Breaking Bad fans that Jesse Pinkman has had a rough life, especially since agreeing to work with Walter White all those years ago. That’s immediately evident from his experiences over the course of the series, and the latest trailer for El Camino reminds us of exactly what Jesse’s been forced to endure.

The trailer opens with Jesse sitting down in front of a camera, while Walt’s brother-in-law, Hank Shrader, tells him, “Just tell us everything you remember.” He continues to question what business dealings and criminal activity Jesse has witnessed, and it’s clear the mere mention of these things is driving Jesse to the brink of a breakdown.

“Just tell us your story,” Hank prods, before Chloe X Halle’s “Enchanted” begins playing. From there, fans are taken on a ride through Jesse’s Breaking Bad past, and no, we’re not given any of his comical moments. The remainder of the trailer is a montage to the trauma Jesse experienced during his time working with Walt.

And Jesse’s trauma seems to be the primary focus of El Camino, with the movie seeking to unravel the aftermath of all the business dealings and shoot outs Walt and Jesse found themselves in the middle of years ago. As far as what Hank’s up to, that’s anyone’s guess.

Thankfully, we don’t have long to wait until we find out all the details about Netflix’s Breaking Bad movie. It was recently announced that the film will air on October 11, leaving us only one month to contemplate what else we might see from Jesse’s perspective. If the original series is anything to judge by, fans are probably in for some wild and twisted moments.
