Little Women: See the trailer for Greta Gerwig’s star-studded new adaptation

The first trailer for Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women just dropped, and it’s just as amazing as you want it to be.

At last! The highly-anticipated trailer for Greta Gerwig’s upcoming adaptation of Little Women finally has a trailer – and we have full-body chills after watching it.

Though there have been countless adaptations of this beloved literary classic already, we’re still over the moon about this newest incarnation. Directed by Oscar nominee Greta GerwigLittle Women has such an amazing cast that we don’t think we’ll be able to wait until Christmas to see it.

Starring Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Saorise Ronan, and Eliza Scanlen as the March sisters, the trailer features just as much humor and heart as we would hope for, given who’s in the director’s chair

Little Women has always been a go-to title when we think of classic feminist literature, and we have no doubt that Gerwig will be able to bring her magic to adapt the story for a new generation.

Besides the March sisters, the trailer also shows us our first glimpse of Timothee Chalamet as Jo’s dreamy love interest Laurie, as well as Meryl Streep as Aunt March and Laura Dern as Mary March. In addition to the amazing cast, the cinematography already has us drooling, and the costumes are beautiful as well.

Though we may have had our doubts about whether or not another adaptation of Little Women is completely necessary, this trailer erased any of them from our mind.

While the film may be set in post Civil War-America, Little Women is still a timeless coming of age story that has influenced the lives of countless women across the globe, and we can’t wait to see it brought to life on the big screen this Christmas.
