Day two of San Diego Comic-Con brought with it some huge trailers and reveals, along with the last Game of Thrones panel the convention will ever see.

San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing, and the second day brought with it even more exciting moments than the first. The Avengers crashed the Russo Brothers panel via some sweet video messages, Avengers writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely discussed their contributions to the MCU, and plenty of shows and movies unveiled new trailers and clips.

With everything happening on day two, it’s difficult to narrow the convention’s biggest moments down to just five. But some series are just dominating SDCC this year, and after all is said and done, those are the ones fans really want to hear about.

Here are the five biggest things that happened on the second day of this year’s SDCC.

The fourth season of Veronica Mars dropped a week early.

Veronica Mars fans were in for a pleasant surprise during the show’s panel yesterday, when, toward the end of it, Kristen Bell announced that the fourth season of the series was dropping just a little bit early. Initially intended to release on July 26, the new season became available to stream on Hulu yesterday.

“Truly, what I want for my birthday is for you to see these episodes,” Bell told panel attendees. “I want it on the Internet right now for my birthday, Hulu!”

Well, Hulu apparently delivered. Sadly, most congoers will need to wait until the weekend is over to watch the new episodes anyway. (But the rest of us sure are grateful!)

The Walking Dead‘s tenth season trailer dropped.

This year’s SDCC has been gradually building up the hype surrounding The Walking Dead‘s tenth season. On day one, fans got their first image from the upcoming episodes, as well as an official air date for the season premiere (October 6). But yesterday delivered the season’s first trailer, and things are looking as intense as ever.

Daryl and Negan have a few great one-liners during our first look at season 10, and it appears that fans will finally get to see the two iconic characters confront one another. More notably, it also looks like The Whisperer war that the show has been teasing will finally be arriving with season 10. And as excited as we are, we’re a little worried too…

Netflix released the first look at The Witcher.

Netflix’s The Witcher is one of the network’s upcoming series that’s getting a lot of attention at SDCC, but fans knew little about the show going into the convention. Apart from the fact that Henry Cavill would be starring in it, there were few details being released — at least until Netflix dropped the first teaser trailer yesterday.

Judging by our first look alone, The Witcher appears to be every bit as epic and adult as showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich claims. Seeing Henry Cavill’s Geralt in action and getting some insight into the show’s storylines was definitely a solid way to kick off The Witcher panel, and it has us even more excited for the show’s release later this year.

Game of Thrones had its last-ever SDCC panel.

Congoers got to experience the end of Game of Thrones all over again yesterday, as the show saw its final SDCC panel last night. Among the panelists were Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) and Conleth Hill (Varys).

And even without David Benioff and D.B. Weiss making their appearances, the cast had a great time discussing the final season of the series, which was arguably its most controversial one yet. Williams dove into where she thinks Arya will go from here, and Hempstead Wright gave some insight into Bran’s powers and limitations.

But after all the joking and banter, Coster-Waldau addressed the divisive final season by saying, “At the end of the day, it’s absolutely fine. If you hated the ending, if you loved it. Just don’t call people names.” And isn’t that the truth? We’ll miss seeing all of these actors and actresses together each year!

Fear the Walking Dead got a trailer and a renewal.

With The Walking Dead releasing so much new information, it was only a matter of time until its popular spinoff series, Fear the Walking Dead, started doing the same. Fear the Walking Dead not only got renewed for a sixth season yesterday, but it also got a brand-new trailer for the second half of its current season — leaving the show’s fans with plenty to process.

The trailer shows what the survivors are currently dealing with and hints at future storylines, including ones that include faction fights similar to those we see in The Walking Dead. The latter half of the fifth season only seems to be getting darker, and it looks like fans will have plenty of conflicts to occupy them heading into season six.
