The cast of Harry Potter reveals what they love about Hagrid’s Motorbike Adventure

The cast of Harry Potter was on hand at the grand opening of Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and this is what we found out from them!

Recently, Culturess was invited to experience Universal Orlando‘s latest attraction, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and interview the cast of Harry Potter! We sat down with the cast we asked what they thought of the new attraction and what spot on the ride car Draco Malfoy himself loved most.

As I got together with Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), I was overcome with emotion. As a 20-something who grew up as a Harry Potter fan, being able to sit in front of the cast was an absolute honor. It felt eerily close to the feeling I got when I would line up at midnight for each new book release at the local book store.

We chatted about the latest addition to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Hogsmeade Village, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. When asked what the cast thought of the new attraction Tom Felton piped up and said, “I’ve rode it three times and it’s bloody brilliant.”

Warwick Davis told us, “It’s very different from your average rollercoaster in the fact that it does accelerate very, very quickly. Also, the fact that it’s so close to the ground, which increases that feeling of speed. And the immersive storytelling of this coaster sets it apart.”

Throughout the queue, there are multiple Easter eggs referring back to Harry Potter. When asked what their character would graffiti onto the walls of the queue to add to the story, Evanna Lynch cleverly told us, “Maybe the latest Quibbler headline.” James and Oliver Phelps mentioned writing some sort of joke or phrase that would make people laugh, which sounds just like something Fred and George Weasley would do.

If you’re looking to ride where the cast prefers to sit, either motorbike or sidecar, Tom Felton prefers the motorbike because you can reach out and hold the handles. Either way you go, sidecar or motorbike, you’re sure to have a great time in Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures class.
