Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD preview: Parasitic alien threat? No problem!

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD brought up a lot of questions at the end of last week’s episode. Will this week’s episode pick up right where we left off?

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has plenty of moving parts and plot points going, but that’s normal for any season of this show.

Still, four episodes in, we need to start getting a bit of a clearer picture of how all of these threads are going to tie together and what exactly Sarge/Fauxson is up to.

Here’s the official synopsis for this week’s episode, “Code Yellow,” courtesy of ABC:

"Yo-Yo and Keller take things public; parasitic aliens threaten the human race; and someone really needs boba…"

I am really excited for the return of Deke. I also have the strangest feeling that he’s the one desperately needing boba. Maybe that’s how he relaxes after a Coulson lookalike tries to murder him?

In the previews for this week’s episode, Deke appears to be living it up in a world he only heard about in stories. His original timeline was awful–and let’s not think about how he’s actually still here since that other timeline technically doesn’t happen (but technically does? Time travel, man. Time travel).

So it should come as no surprise that he’s adjusted quite well to our world. Everything we take for granted, he will love and cherish and appreciate more than we ever could.

I’m excited to watch Clark Gregg’s Sarge pretend to be Coulson with Deke and his infectious happiness. Although the previews make it look as though it doesn’t last long. Sarge doesn’t seem like the type to keep up a facade for more than a few sentences.

Also, I know I’ve complained plenty, but can we stop with Fitz and Simmons missing each other? Can they find Fitz within the next episode or two? One has to think that these hunter Chronicoms are on their way to Earth sooner or later. Does that make Sarge a Chronicom? An LMD? Will we ever get an answer?

Hey, maybe we’ll at least find out what Sarge is up to on Earth!
