Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger preview: The frustration can only increase
Frustrations are starting to mount on Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger, and it’s only a matter of time before something–or someone–snaps
Nothing seems to be working out on Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger. That is, nothing seems to be working out for Tandy or Tyrone.
Things might be coming up Milhouse for Connors, who managed to escape the Darkforce dimension with Tandy and escape out the church window away from two of the people in the real world who want him.
We have plenty of burning questions after last week’s episode, “Rabbit Hold,” and honestly, it doesn’t sound like things are going to get better anytime soon.
Here is the official synopsis for this week’s episode, “Alignment Chart,” courtesy of Freeform:
"Tyrone is faced with a hard decision when presented with an opportunity to clear his name from an unlikely source. Meanwhile, Tandy is letting her anger get the best of her as she becomes frustrated with a possible dead end to her investigation into the sex trafficking ring."
None of that sounds great for any parties involved. The only good thing is that Mayhem is still stuck in the Darkforce realm… well, we assume she’s stuck there. We only saw Connors in the aftermath.
Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger really likes throwing us for crazy loops. Would it be so crazy to think that maybe part of Mayhem made it out and part of her stayed? That would give us two Mayhems.
That might be taking the side effects of the Roxxon leak a little too far. It’s probably a safe bet that she’s still stuck in Tyrone. Which is fine. They don’t need Mayhem just yet.
Not until their frustrations boil over and Tyrone and Tandy make some rash decisions. Like re-trying to rescue Mayhem from the Darkhold dimension.
I have a strange feeling they may leave her stuck there for a few more episodes and only bring her in when they really need some firepower.
