When will the Avengers 4 trailer come out?

Fans anxiously await what will happen next to their favorite heroes in Avengers 4. A trailer would be the best way to help ease those worries. Here’s when we can expect that trailer.

The wait seems to grow longer by the day as Marvel fans sit by, curious to find out what happens next to the Avengers after Infinity War. And while we were all expertly tricked by the Russo brothers into thinking Infinity War would be a standalone movie, we all know that the movie will never be complete until we see what happens in Avengers 4.

Luckily, the date for Avengers 4 is set in stone, as we know it will come out May 3, 2019. (And maybe a little earlier if they push up the release date like they did with Infinity War.) But what about the trailer? You can’t have a good movie without a trailer.

In the typical Marvel fashion, the studio has kept fairly quiet about any details regarding the movie. But one thing’s for sure: a trailer will come out before the end of this year.

This, according to reporter Erick Weber, is straight from Kevin Feige himself, who was asked about the trailer’s release date during a special screening of Black Panther.

It’s another typical and vague Feige/Marvel response, but at least it’s something. And with only a handful of weeks left in the year anyway, that means the first trailer is right around the corner.

The first Infinity War trailer was released on Nov. 29, 2017. So that may be a good indicator of when we could see the Avengers 4 trailer drop this year. Considering the movies are coming out relatively around the same time of year, the timeline for their trailers might also be the same.

As buzz grows about the trailer, some Marvel and industry insiders are saying that the trailer has the potential to ship with the big films coming out later in December. So, as of now, the window is between late November and early Demeber. MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad agreed with another fan on Twitter that we could see it no later than December 5.

But with so much secrecy surrounding this film, it’s hard to say how much Marvel will be willing to reveal in the two-minutes-or-so trailer. Will the trailer reveal the rumored time-jump that many people expect to happen? Or will that be something that’s held a secret until the movie’s release?

Also, will the trailer reveal to us what Thanos is up to in the meantime? We’re sure that snap-happy villain will start to feel the weight of what he’s done sooner or later, especially with the haunting thought that he had to give up Gamora in order to fulfill his personal destiny.

And lastly, the biggest question, will the trailer allude to one of the Avengers’ death? Fans have feared since Infinity War (even Civil War, really) that Tony Stark or Steve Rogers could be one of the Avengers to die. And even though the heroes who were snapped away technically “died,” we know that they’ll have to be saved eventually. It’s all a matter of whether Tony or Steve will be the one to sacrifice it all to get them back.

What are you looking forward to seeing most in the Avengers 4 trailer? By then, hopefully, we should have a title for the movie, too. And things will start to make a lot more sense.
