10 celebrities who won at Halloween this year

Halloween is over already, but we can still enjoy the holiday with this list of Halloween costumes that celebrities were rocking this year.

Dressing up for Halloween is one of the best parts of the holiday, and we love to see celebrities getting into that Halloween spirit, too. Some celebs really go all out with their costumes, while others take a more humorous or casual approach to the holiday. One thing is for sure: we love to see the costumes that some of our favorite celebs come up with.

Here are a few of our favorites this year.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake as Lego Batman figures

We love to see a good family theme for a costume, and these three look great. They really do look like Lego figures, and it’s pretty dang adorable. We love it when parents don’t mind being a little extra or silly in order to help their child have a great Halloween.

Ciara as Nakia from Black Panther

We all know that characters from Black Panther were some of the most popular Halloween costumes this year, and we love that. Celebrities were no exception to this fact. Ciara looked gorgeous in this detailed, beautiful costume of Nakia.

Stranger Things kids as Star Wars characters and more

The Stranger Things kids got together to take this amazing picture. The stars of the series including Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Sadie Sink, Millie Bobby Brown, and Noah Schnapp were all decked out for Halloween. Three of them, including Millie Bobby Brown, went with a Star Wars theme. But, we especially love Schnapp’s costume version of Eleven.

Beyoncé as Toni Braxton and Olympian Florence Griffith Joyner

Beyoncé thrilled us by dressing up twice this Halloween. Her first ensemble was a tribute to Toni Braxton (or “Phoni Braxton”), and she posted to Instagram an amazing picture of herself recreating an album cover. Next, she paid tribute to Olympian Florence Griffith Joyner. We love that Beyoncé is out here representing other powerful women like herself and looking amazing while doing so.

Emma Watson as Wonder Woman

Emma Watson is known for being a champion of women’s rights and using her platform to promote feminist values. She is definitely on brand by going as Wonder Woman for Halloween this year, and she looks stunning as always posing with this awesome Yoda.

Neil Patrick Harris and his family as characters from The Haunted Mansion

We all know that Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, stay winning when it comes to Halloween. Each year, they dress up their kids and themselves in themed costumes that are adorable and elaborate. This year, they really upped the ante, going as characters from the classic Disney ride, The Haunted Mansion. The picture is spooky and looks so good, and we love them so much. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next year.

Tracee Ellis Ross and Black-ish cast as Black Panther characters

Ciara wasn’t the only celebrating saying Wakanda forever this Halloween. Tracee Ellis Ross went as Nakia, too, and her costume also looks so amazing. Marcus Scribner made a spot-on Killmonger in his casual clothes look, and Anthony Anderson went as T’Challa in his black ceremonial robes. The three of them looked royal and beautiful, and we love it.

Heidi Klum is another celebrity that is known for going all out for Halloween. This year at her annual Halloween party, she really took things to a level that would make others green with envy by dressing up as Fiona from Shrek. The costume is dead-on, and she posted a variety of videos to her Instagram detailing the process of getting ready. Her boyfriend, Tom Kaulitz, dressed up as Shrek.

Robert Downey Jr. as a hipster skeleton baby?

Literally, who knows what this costume is actually supposed to be. Robert Downey Jr.’s wearing a skeleton onesie, a diaper, and a large pacifier. In his true fashion, he totally exudes “eccentric dad” with this costume. We don’t really get it, but we love him for it anyway.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas as Morticia and Gomez Addams

The Addams family is always a classic Halloween look, and Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner pulled it off quite well. There were many couples costumes this year that celebrities were sporting, but this one we included because it’s such a classic look.
