Queer Eye’s Fab Five werked it with amazing outfits at the Emmys
The Queer Eye guys stepped onto the gold carpet at the Emmys with tons of style, and we have thoughts about their fashionable get-ups.
Oh, henny, we are here to freak out a bit over the looks that the Fab Five were serving on the red carpet for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. Of course, we knew that the Queer Eye guys would be looking fab for this event, but wow did they really go above and beyond.
Queer Eye was nominated for four Emmy’s, and they won three of them. They took home the awards for these categories: Outstanding Structured Reality Program, Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Structured or Competition Reality Program. The show also won three Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sept. 8th.
Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, and Karamo Brown gave us such a wide range of looks that we could dissect their outfits for days. Just take a look at their show-stopping look!

First, we have Jonathan serving us a look that has his style written all over it. We love the white Stella McCartney pantsuit along with the sheer, turtleneck top from Prada. Oh, and we like being able to see a little chest on the red carpet. (Honestly, more men should sport looks like this.) Jonathan completed his designer look with shoes from Chanel and a purple handbag from The Row.
Tan France is pulling off a checkered suit that reminds us of something from Hannibal the TV series. The suit’s from Thom Browne, and it’s a pattern that fashion-expert Tan can certainly rock. The bow tie adds a little bit of quirkiness, too. To keep things a bit tame, Tan completed the look with sleek, black Louboutins.
Antoni was looking fancy and elegant in a black suit from Balmain with a jacket that looks like something a famous composer from the 1800s would wear to a concerto. We are here for it, and Antoni can show up in our kitchen in a suit like that any time.
Bobby was the most subdued of the five wearing a dark blue tux and a bow tie. That’s good though, as his outfit gives our eyes somewhere to rest. They say the devil wears Prada, but Bobby looks like an absolute angel in his Prada suit, complete with an IWC watch.
Now, we have to talk about Karamo’s outfit. Considering that most of these outfits are pretty fabulous and a little out there, the fact that Karamo’s stands out is saying something. He wears a maroon ensemble from C|E Clothier including fitted pants and buttoned up vest. He then adds in a black cape and black Ovation riding boots. We don’t know what cosplay fantasy he is living exactly, but we love it.
Which of these Emmy outfits are you feeling the most? Let us know in the comments.
