2018 Primetime Emmys: Updated winners’ list

With Game of Thrones back in the competition, the 2018 Emmys promise to be full of surprises. Here’s all the latest in who’s won and lost.

The 2018 Emmy Awards have already seen some history being made, with John Legend becoming a member of the EGOT club thanks to Jesus Christ Superstar — and doing so in “competitive categories,” as Vanity Fair put it. But tonight’s Primetime Emmy Awards, with Colin Jost and Michael Che of Saturday Night Live hosting, will see a lot of competition in pretty much all the major categories.

After all, it’s the end for The Americans, an often-nominated but rarely-winning series; Game of Thrones‘ seventh season is eligible for this year’s awards, despite airing last year; and Netflix has nominations everywhere, sometimes against itself, as in the Outstanding Drama and Comedy Series nominees. (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and GLOW will square off in the comedy section, while Stranger Things and The Crown make up two of the seven drama nominees.)

But with a three-hour show and plenty of awards to give out, things will keep on moving. Enter this list, which will update throughout tonight’s proceedings with winners in each category. Please keep checking back and refreshing throughout the night as we see who takes home the big trophies, who falls just short, and who might end up shocking us all.

Below, you can find a list of nominees. As awards are given out, winners’ names will be bolded, but all nominees will stay there. Hey, it takes a lot of work just to get the attention of the Television Academy, and even shows that lose out deserve love from TV viewers everywhere.
