Drake’s cameo-filled “In My Feelings” video pays tribute to viral dance craze
Drake’s “In My Feelings” video features Will Smith, Millie Bobby Brown, Shiggy and more showing off their #InMyFeelingsChallenge moves. Plus we finally meet Kiki.
TGIF because Drake’s “In My Feelings” video dropped this morning! It is a hilariously beautiful tribute to all those who got in on the viral dance craze created by comedian Shiggy.
Directed by Karena Davis, the video gives us a whole lot of throwback feels. For starters, Drake does a Say Anything bit, standing outside a house calling out for his woman Kiki, played by La La Anthony. (In real life, Kiki is Drake’s first girlfriend and singer Keshia Chanté, and oh she has already received plenty of attention due to this song.)
Drake tells Kiki how much he loves her, but Kiki isn’t having it, telling him he’s too old to be out on a lawn professing these feelings.
The couple is interrupted by Kiki’s mom, played by the incredible Phylicia Rashad (oh yes, Clair Huxtable is in this). She’s swift with the insults, telling Drake this isn’t a Taye Diggs movie and it is time for him to head on home.
The video then takes us to the streets of New Orleans where regular people get to a lot of twerking to win the #InMyFeelingsChallenge, including Shiggy himself. Drake wanders the city, singing lyrics we still can’t get out of our heads: “Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding?”
City Girls’ Yung Miami makes a cameo midway through the video. The South Florida rapper has an important piece of wardrobe, as she dons a “Free JT” jacket for her rap partner JT who is currently in prison for credit card fraud charges.
As the video comes to an end, Kiki walks slowly towards Drake in a nightclub but alas, it isn’t meant to be. Drake wakes up in his trailer, realizing the song and crazy viral dance was all a dream.
We’re treated to plenty more cameos as the credits come on, including the Queer Eye guys, Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown, BTS’ J-Hope, DJ Khaled, Ciara and the challenge’s obvious champion Will Smith (that location, though).

It’s obvious now that Drake has a huge fandom (especially if you can get Will Smith to do some insane stunts), giving him some major cred to rise up in this year’s Fandom 250.
“In My Feelings” is the fifth single from Drake’s fifth studio album, Scorpion.
Get it here, and be sure to share your own #InMyFeelingsChallenge dance moves once you give it a listen.
