Avengers 4 could see the arrival of the Eternals and Kronos

There is a lot of mystery still surrounding Avengers 4 and how the universe can come back from Infinity War. New rumors suggest the arrival of the Eternals and Kronos.

We still don’t know a lot about what we will see in Avengers 4, following the events of Infinity War and the snap heard ’round the galaxy. That does not mean fans haven’t been speculating. Thanks to set photos that indicate potential time travel and comics to reference, fans have plenty of theories in regard to what the fourth film has in store for us.

One of the prevailing theories by fans is some or all of the Avengers will go back in time to the pivotal Battle of New York. This is based on an Avengers 4 set photos that clearly showed the iconic battle when our heroes teamed up together for the first time.

If our heroes really are heading back in time in Avengers 4, then a new fan theory reported by MCUExchange might actually make sense. The idea is that the Eternals will be making an appearance in the upcoming Avengers film, including Kronos, the “Titan God of Time.”

If we’re dealing with time travel, it makes sense for Kronos to show up. It would also be a great way for Marvel to introduce the Eternals (which is something they seem to want to do anyway since there is word that there will be a new franchise revolving around these characters).

It is important to note that Thanos is an Eternal as well. Granted, he is considered to be a “mutant among his kind.” With how important Thanos’ homeworld, Titan, was to his backstory in Infinity War, it also makes sense that we would be introduced to Kronos, since he is said to be one of the founders of the planet.

While there is no real guarantee that we will be introduced to the Eternals or Kronos, the evidence certainly backs up these theories, especially if time travel is in the cards for the Avengers.

Unfortunately, we will not know for sure until either the movie is released in 2019, or more details are revealed by the MCU itself. For now, we can continue to speculate and come up with our own theories based on the evidence we have now.
