Avengers 4 reveals ‘sacrifices’ must be made in new synopsis
Avengers: Infinity War has left us with a lot of questions and fallen heroes. A new synopsis for Avengers 4 keeps us guessing.

With Avengers: Infinity War having been in theaters for weeks, shocking and devastating many fans in the process, we’re hoping Avengers 4 will make all those sad feels go away.
Marvel has done its best to keep everything under wraps. However, there’s now a tiny bit more information out about Avengers 4.
With a new synopsis revealed in License Magazine, it looks like the MCU has every intention of continuing to tease their fans with little details. This means it is up to us to pull all of these teases and hints together in order to satisfy our curiosity.
The synopsis calls the fourth movie a turning point for the MCU:
"Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it."
Based on the new synopsis for Avengers 4, it seems that Thanos’ idea of a “balanced universe” is not all it is cracked up to be. It seems when you wipe out half the universe, there might be some consequences you didn’t think about.
What does all this mean for Avengers 4? Despite this synopsis news, we still don’t know much more than we did before.
There is, of course, plenty of speculation as to what could happen next. As we recently reported, there are some fan theories based on images that have circulated from the set of both Avengers movies.
As fans have been saying, time travel is certainly one way that the Avengers could try and fix things. With B.A.R.F. on their side and Tony Stark likely doing everything he possibly can to get his friends and family back, I believe he will find a way to create the technology to correct time.
Also, let’s not forget that everything took place in Wakanda. If you have seen Black Panther, you know how important the ancestral plane was to that storyline. Perhaps the ancestral plane will come into play in Avengers 4. Maybe Tony Stark can have a sit down with Doctor Strange on the ancestral plane and discover what that one way of saving the universe was.
And remember when T’Challa told his father and ancestors that he was not ready to join them after he was nearly defeated by Killmonger? It is entirely possible that this could come into play in Avengers. Maybe Shuri becomes the next Black Panther? She, along with the others, could use the ancestral plane as a go-between for the living and dead. Who knows if this could be one way to contact those wiped out in Infinity War.
We also can’t forget that one of the stones in the Infinity Gauntlet that helped wipe out half of creation is the soul stone. What if everyone who was snapped out of existence is somehow stored in the Soul Stone? It might be up to the heroes left behind to find a way to break their friends out.
The Infinity Stones are the most powerful objects in the universe. It makes sense they’d be the answer to undoing all that Thanos had done. Not only is there a soul stone to consider, but a Reality Stone and Time Stone. These could be instrumental in reversing the damage done by the snap of Thanos’ fingers.
With not much to work with, all we can do is speculate at this point. Speculate, and pray, because we really hope The Avengers and Guardians can bring back the heroes we lost.
