Royal Wedding mania hits Dunkin’ Donuts with a special heart donut

Even Dunkin Donuts is feeling the Royal Wedding fever as they release a limited edition donut in honor of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s union.

The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is scheduled for May 19, and with it comes royal wedding fever. With love in the air, it makes sense that everyone would want to get in on the splendor and spectacle of the royal wedding. And the latest company to feel the love is Dunkin’ Donuts.

That’s right, Dunkin’ Donuts has been hit with the royal wedding fever, and who can blame them? There really is something magical about a wedding, and when it is a real-life prince and an American actress, well that makes it even better.

In honor of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, Dunkin’ Donuts announced its decided to release a limited edition donut. This very special sweet treat is called the “Royal Love,” and is in the shape of a heart, which makes sense, as it celebrates the love between these two people.

The Royal Love donut will be available from May 14 until May 20, and is a jelly-filled confection that will have a chocolate icing with a drizzle of strawberry over the top. While Dunkin’ Donuts has certainly offered jelly-filled heart-shaped donuts in the past, the Royal Love will be a very special edition of the company’s donuts. And with such a limited run, you’ll want to head to your nearest store to give it a try as soon as you can.

However, this isn’t the only way that Dunkin’ Donuts has gotten in on the royal wedding mania. In fact, it seems that the company is also planning to offer royal carriage rides through New York City’s Central Park. The carriage itself will be a bright pink and will feature the Dunkin’ Donuts logo.

The very first ride in the Dunkin’ Donuts’ royal carriage will be taken by someone who is technically a royal by marriage. Carole Radziwill of The Real Housewives of New York City, who was married to the late Prince Anthony Radziwill, will be kicking off these special carriage rides through Central Park.

Not only is this a chance to perfect your very own royal wave, but with the Royal Love donut, you can even enjoy a royally sweet treat.

Although the royal wedding menu has not been divulged, there is always a chance that donuts could make the list. This is especially true if Meghan Markle really is considering the idea of incorporating the American tradition of offering a late-night treat at the private reception, which is scheduled to be held after the wedding.
