Josh Brolin has seen your Fortnite Thanos dances and he doesn’t get it

Josh Brolin, who plays Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, got caught up on the Thanos playable mode in Fornite and found it kind of weird.
Let’s not pretend that Thanos’ appearance in Fortnite hasn’t made us love the character just a little bit — no matter how evil he is. Now, Josh Brolin is being charmed by his own character after seeing just how silly he looks on Fortnite.
Brolin got the chance the to see Thanos pull off some dance emotes during a Deadpool 2 press tour interview with IGN. And while he did enjoy it, he was still pretty confused about what was going on.
While watching a few clips of Thanos showing off his moves, Brolin said that he heard about Fortnite and Thanos craze, but he “had no idea what anyone was talking about.”
Brolin did have a good laugh at the dancing character. Ultimately though, it still didn’t make much sense to him, which is completely understandable. Villains don’t dance, they do harm.
“Why is he dancing? I don’t understand,” Brolin asked. That was the hard part to explain, but the interviewer broke it down as simply as possible. “Well, he’s just killed a bunch of people, so he’s kind of taunting them.” Well said.
And for someone who’s played two Marvel villains in the same year, Brolin responded by saying, “I don’t like that.”
Maybe Brolin channeled that change-of-heart attitude for Thanos in Avengers 4, so he’ll be a little less mean next time around.
Meanwhile, Brolin will be appearing in Deadpool 2 as the baddie, Cable, in theaters May 18. We don’t know if he’ll be dancing in that movie. Perhaps Fortnite should just continue with the whole Josh Brolin theme anyway. Who doesn’t want to see Cable as a playable (and dancing) character? We’d totally play that, so we hope they’re as ready as we are.

Well, now he knows why the Thanos craze is sweeping the world. We don’t love him because he’s so delightfully evil, but because he can pull off some killer dance moves.
