We finally know what Pam said to Michael for their goodbye on The Office

Pam and Michael had a private farewell, but we finally know what was said thanks to Jenna Fischer reliving the sweet moment.

The Office is one of the best shows out there, in my opinion. It gave us hilarious antics that we will never forget as well as heartwarming moments that we will cherish forever. One of those moments was when Pam Halpert rushed to the airport to say goodbye to her boss Michael Scott as he is leaving for Colorado.

In an episode called “Goodbye, Michael,” he spends the entire day saying goodbye to everyone at the office, but he misses Pam, who came in right after he left. But she rushes to the airport to see him and tell him farewell. Viewers don’t hear what they say, though. I can’t be the only one who thought about this for seven years … can I?

It was a conversation that I wanted to hear because it would be the final one. Thanks to Jenna Fischer, who played Pam, we no longer have to wonder what they said. Fischer had an Instagram Live session last week, and she let the cat out of the bag after waiting seven years to talk about it.

Fischer said, “That was me talking to Steve. I told him all the ways I was going to miss him when we left our show. Those were real tears and a real goodbye. That was a really emotional scene.”

The amazing receptionist really cared about Michael and everything he has done for her and the Dunder Mifflin team. This is also true for Jenna Fisher herself, and this goodbye moment shows that.

The actress also revealed her favorite episodes of the entire show: “Dinner Party” and “Health Care.” This gave us all the feels and made me want to binge watch The Office all over again. My favorite is “Stress Relief” and I’ve seen it way too many times — what’s yours?
