Kate Hudson is pregnant, and her Instagram announcement is beyond joyful to watch

Kate Hudson seems to always exude bright and positive vibes. Her gender reveal video on Instagram proves it, and we can’t stop replaying!

Kate Hudson revealed two incredible things today: she’s pregnant and expecting a baby girl with boyfriend and Los Angeles musician Danny Fujikawa. The news was shared via an adorable Instagram video.

In the video, Hudson and Fujikawa are surrounded by loved ones, holding black balloons dotted with question marks. They all count down, pop the balloons and pink confetti explodes onto all of them.

Hudson hops up and down in a fringe-laden white dress, screaming with joy along with everyone else. Honestly, we could watch this over and over.

The 38-year-old actress added this caption to the video:

"SURPRISE!!! 🤱 If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children. Boomerangs have made me nauseous, Superzoom is an easy way to have my head in the toilet, food instagrams make me queezy and thinking too much about insta stories made me even more exhausted than I already had been. If you’ve seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing…I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way 💕"

Hudson revealed this pregnancy has been the hardest for her as it’s made her pretty sick. She joked that everything from boomerangs to food pics on Instagram makes her nauseous.

The Almost Famous actress expressed that she and boyfriend Fujikawa are “crazy excited” for their incoming bundle of joy. Hudson and Fujikawa celebrated their one-year anniversary last December. In an anniversary post, she revealed the two have known each other for some time. They met when Hudson was 23 and pregnant with her first child, Ryder.

Last October, Hudson happily talked about her relationship with Fujikawa on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She joked that he loved the buzzed haircut look she had for her role in Sister. “I hope our relationship can transcend hair,” she added.

Hudson has two children already. She shares Ryder, 14, with her ex-husband and Chris Robinson, frontman for The Black Crowes. Her second son Bingham is 6 years old, and his father is former boyfriend Matt Bellamy of Muse.
