To celebrate 10 years of MCU, the cast got together for a huge (and adorable) class photo that shows off the real pool of talent accumulated after a decade.

10 years ago, Marvel released a little film called Iron Man that changed the face of blockbusters as we know it. Robert Downey Jr. suddenly became a household name again and cemented himself as a staple of superhero cinema.

17 films, a dozen superheroes and two Avengers films later, we now stand on the precipice of new era. Beginning with Black Panther, Marvel will soon usher us into a new chapter of its cinematic universe.

And to commemorate such an impressive feat, Marvel gathered its entire cast in one spot for a class photo unlike any other.

From folks who helped launched the franchise, like Gwyneth Paltrow, to more recent additions like Karen Gillan, the entire photo features a whopping 79 actors and filmmakers who have been a part of the journey.

Perhaps, it’s my inner 13 Going on 30 fan or maybe because Iron Man is responsible for igniting my fierce love of superheroes, but I can’t think of a better way to pay homage to what Marvel has pulled off in the past decade. The photo itself isn’t just a representation of actors, but a celebration of the superhero icons that they helped bring to life.

Sure, we can look at the color palette of the photo and say something about how slow progress has been. Or we can remain positive, take a look at the billions of dollars of they have and be thankful for what’s being done now.

The first 10 years gave us a hilarious side of Thor, Spider-Man at the studio where he belongs, and innumerable Stan Lee cameos. But the next 10 years will give us Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and hopefully, more Tessa Thompson.

Of course, getting the crew together in Atlanta last October couldn’t have been that hard if many of them were already nearby for Avengers: Infinity War or other MCU projects anyway.

Still, this class photo offers just the tiniest of glimpses at how many people star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Just imagine if they really got everybody.
