Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD: Here’s a fun theory about Fitz
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD had a great post-credits stinger last episode. We’ve got a theory on this new appearance of Fitz.
Agents of SHIELD gave us a great post-credits stinger in its fourth episode. And just like I theorized before, a Fitz-centric episode rests on the horizon this coming Friday.
In case you may have missed it, in the post-credits stinger, Kasius is auctioning off Daisy to his gala guests. A helmet-wearing person comes to the forefront and says she shouldn’t be auctioned off as the Destroyer of Worlds. He takes off his helmet and it’s Fitz, who finishes his last statement. “She should fight to the death.”
That seems … odd for Fitz to say about one of his friends.
Which is why my theory is that this is the Fitz of this universe and not our Fitz. Think about it: just a few episodes ago, Deke informed Daisy of the multiple universes theory. And what did Doctor Strange teach us? Multiverses.
It wouldn’t be a coincidence if the Fitz of this universe somehow managed to live an extra 90 years to exact revenge on Daisy for destroying the world. After all, this is the same guy who made Simmons’ cell phone battery last an extra 100 hours or whatever ridiculous amount it was on that alien planet.
More than likely, this is just our normal Fitz we know and love. We’ll see how exactly he makes it to the future in this next episode. But what’s his play with wanting Daisy to fight to the death?
He can’t know she’ll absolutely win, even with the moniker Destroyer of Worlds. Who knows what Terrigenesis does to the humans of the future? Someone could have more insane powers than her. And even if she does win, doesn’t she then just get sold off to the highest buyer?
There are only so many strings our SHIELD friends can pull on the Lighthouse before all chaos erupts. And where will they go after that? How will they get back to Earth-616?
Next: Bucky Barnes just wanted to buy some plums, but did he ever get any?
Regardless of the answer, we will find out in this week’s episode. And find out how Lance Hunter gets to come back!
