Bucky Barnes just wanted to buy some plums, but did he ever get any?

Fans have taken a liking to Bucky Barnes trying to get his plums. They theorized, they’ve asked, but the question is: did he ever actually get them?

Bucky Barnes has become an internet favorite. And for good reason. He’s an incredibly nuanced character and we just want what’s best for him. Granted, we’re still waiting for the moment that he truly remembers who he is but still.

So what is this theory the internet has about Bucky and his plums? Well in Captain America: Civil War, they go to get Bucky from where he is in hiding.  He’s out there, just trying to buy some plums before he’s dragged back into everything.

So why is the internet so obsessed with it? Because plums are said to help people with memory problems. Which is like the majority of Bucky’s deal. He is a manipulated man who just wants to remember who he used to be. So, of course, the internet clung to this theory.

It’s hard breaking when you really stop and think about it. So I have a theory for what can happen in The Avengers: Infinity War. Bucky Barnes is in it, he still hasn’t truly remembered. So what if Steve Rogers is dying, Bucky Barnes is by his side and suddenly, he remembers.

Ruined your day, right? Well, that’s what the internet has been dealing with for the last few years when they think about the plums. So I think that maybe Bucky Barnes will get his plums after all, he’ll get them, he’ll remember, and we won’t like it when he does because it is going to break our heart.
