Game of Thrones season 8: Even Jason Momoa can’t avoid secrets
So, just what did Jason Momoa learn on the set of Game of Thrones season 8? We want to know … and we have some guesses, of course.
We now know two more things about Jason Momoa. One, he doesn’t like to get advance notes on upcoming plot points of Game of Thrones season 8, like many a fan. Second, in what has to count as a massive case of irony … he actually knows some details about Game of Thrones season 8. That’s according to Slashfilm and ultimately Entertainment Weekly.
So, what big things did the cast let slip? Were they even that big? Does Jason Momoa know who will reign at the end of the series? Does he know if Jon and Daenerys stay together even after finding out they’re related?
Presumably, the current cast of the show knows better than to let things of that nature slip. But, in his own words, Momoa knows enough to make him not only react by saying “I didn’t want to know that,” emphasis EW‘s, but also to state that the season will be “unbelievable.”
So, does he know something about, say, the scope and scale of some sets? Did Emilia Clarke whisper what’s going on at Winterfell in his ear? If the fact that he brought up multiple combat scenes to emphasize how much he’s enjoyed the show even without his character is any indication, maybe that’s what he knows.
After all, there have been plenty of developments on that front already, in this relatively early stage of production, and that seems like something fairly safe, at least in the sense that it’s practically not a spoiler to know that there’s going to be combat in season 8 of Game of Thrones.
However, his wording does suggest that he knows some more details about the season. Unfortunately, it looks like he’s learned too well and won’t be sharing any time soon … but would he step forward and break things down after the fact? We can only hope. He could just live-tweet it out, right?
