Game of Thrones season 7 premiere red carpet: watch online
The stars of Game of Thrones are swinging by L.A. Wednesday night for the season 7 red carpet premiere ahead of their return to Westeros on Sunday.
Game of Thrones makes its triumphant return to HBO Sunday night but before the first episode of season 7 drops, the cast and showrunners have been keeping fans busy all week with new episode titles and photos to analyze, and interviews to decipher (which we, admittedly, are happy to do).
One question many of us were pondering: when is the star-studded red carpet premiere going down? Unlike previous seasons, this year organizers kept things pretty quiet. Kit Harington mentioned on an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this week that the premiere would be Wednesday, with no other details and sure enough, winter has arrived in Los Angeles (an 82-degree winter, but still).

While the official Game of Thrones Facebook page isn’t offering the live stream it has in years past, Variety and other outlets are on the carpet talking to Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and GoT’s other stars.

We’ve been weighing in on ways to get your Thrones fix ahead of the season premiere all week as well, and we have to say, watching Arya and Sansa and Bran (albeit in fancy dresses and suits instead of their more familiar animal skins and armor) is getting us pretty excited. And we’re not the only ones: Popsugar and other sites reported earlier today that a squad of White Walkers was seen strolling around the streets of London today and we’re pretty bummed we missed it.
Our Game of Thrones-obsessed friends over at Winter is Coming are keeping an eye on everything unfolding on the premiere carpet as well. Throughout the week, they’ve been counting down with analysis from various interviews with the stars on what may unfold when we reunite with our favorite characters, but we’ll likely find out more after tonight’s event.
