Kelly Ripa has found her new co-host in Ryan Seacrest for Live with Kelly

Live with Kelly has become Live with Kelly and Ryan as Ryan Seacrest joins Kelly Ripa on her early morning talk show as her new co-host!

For months, we’ve wondered who will be Kelly Ripa’s new host for Live with Kelly. And finally the wait is over. This morning, Kelly emerged with her new co-host and Twitter obviously had some thoughts about it.

First, it began with Ryan Seacrest announcing his co-host status with an innocent enough tweet. All he really said was how excited he was about it.

But then, you know, Twitter had to put their two cents in about Ryan and his new gig.

And really, Ashley isn’t wrong. Ryan seems to be in every show and every movie or involved in some way or another. And then there’s this hot take.

But then there are the more topical reactions.

And then, there’s how I feel about Ryan Seacrest.

But while many are confused with their very different personalities and how they’ll mesh on air, we’re all excited to see what kind of show this becomes. In the last year, Kelly has had co-hosts from Jeffrey Dean Morgan to Zachary Quinto and every other random celebrity you could think of.

So the fact that they chose Ryan Seacrest as her permanent co-host is a little strange. But we’ll just have to wait and see what ends up coming out of this mash-up. Maybe it’ll be the best Live with pairing we’ve ever seen!

So is Ryan going to be a good co-host for Kelly? No, he’ll probably be a great one. That doesn’t mean we can’t make fun of the fact that Ryan Seacrest is always doing everything all the time. Really, boy is everywhere. But congratulations to Ryan and we’re excited to see the new take this show has!
