Michael Flynn wants immunity now and Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers are taking him on once more. Because really, who else is trying to take Trump on?
Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert seem to always go head to head against Trump news. Why? Because they’re really the only two who are willing to take on the news that comes out each day. Every other late night talk show host that isn’t purely news based seems to attempt to take on Trump when it is convenient for them.
But not Seth and Stephen. They take whatever insanity has happened and make sure we’re aware. And last nights was all about Mike Flynn and his plea for immunity. Seth did an incredible job of pointing out the absurdity of the situation.
For those who can’t recall, Flynn and Trump were the lead campaigners for the “lock her up” chants and claimed that Hillary Clinton’s staffers asking for immunity meant that she was guilty. So why is Flynn not guilty asking for immunity, especially since he himself said that immunity means you’re guilty? (Yes, Seth has the clip.)
Stephen took a more jokey approach than Seth did this time around. While Seth brought all the receipts, if you will, Stephen just pointed out the insanity that is this immunity situation. Because really, talk about bias. When it was someone else doing whatever it is that Trump and the Republicans are doing, it was a huge ordeal. But now that it is them doing those same things, it is fine?
Of course, Colbert didn’t ignore what’s going on with the Supreme Court nomination of Neil Gorsuch or March Madness because that’s what you do when you have a nearly 11-minute opening monologue. (North Carolina won, by the way.)

As always, watch these two men. They’re actually taking on the president and working towards making us aware of what is going on. So while the other late night talk show hosts are pulling a Sean Spicer-style “nope” when it comes to Trump, Seth and Stephen are seemingly unafraid.
