The teaser trailer for Deadpool 2 dropped before the movie Logan starts. It’s absolutely perfect and of course mildly inappropriate.
The Merc With a Mouth is back at it again. This time he is releasing his teaser trailer for Deadpool 2 before the movie Logan starts. That’s classic Deadpool. He’s going to ruin Wolverine’s swansong just because he can. That’s right fans, instead of waiting until the end of the credits of Logan you get the privilege to watch Wade Wilson slip his sexy body into his red spandex costume. You can thank Ryan Reynolds and his mom later.
Warning: If you don’t want to be spoiled, stop reading now.
The scene opens with Wade Wilson and his classic hoodie.Out of the blue, Wade hears somebody calling for help and immediately goes into action. When I say goes into action, I mean he finds the closest phone booth to change into his Deadpool gear. During this time the background music changes to the classic theme from Superman by John Williams. It looks like someone is jabbing the pointy end of his katana at the DCEU.
Apparently, Wade has been taking his vacation seriously because he’s having a little trouble getting into his costume. I blame the chimichangas. Evidently, he’s having so much trouble that his bare ass ends up pressed up against the glass of the telephone booth.
While staring at Wade’s ass, you might have missed scrawled on the box “Nathan Summers Cumming Soon!” If you don’t know who Nathan Summers is, he’s the Marvel comic book mutant, Cable. Yeah, the guy every older actor in Hollywood wants to play. Deadpool finally emerges dressed but he’s too late to save the man. He does manage a subtle slam on Wolverine by saying, “What’s he gonna change into? Guy wears a fuckin’ tank top and a pair of jeans.” Of course, Deadpool takes the good with the bad and starts to eat the food of the dead man.
Here’s the video of the teaser trailer.
While fans of Deadpool and Wolverine wanted them in a scene together, this is as close as we are going to get. Here’s a thought, Logan might be Hugh Jackman’s last movie as Wolverine but couldn’t he come back as Cable for Deadpool 2?
