A star-studded evening awaits us as we prepare for the 89th annual Academy Awards. But toss the Oscars aside for a second as we focus on the entertainment of the night.

Oscar night is always one to watch. Celebrities bring their best to the red carpet each year, as they patiently wait to hear their names being called for a big win. But we can’t forget the other reason folks tune into the Oscars. No, not the red carpet coverage, the star-studded performances. And this year’s Academy Awards has quite the list of performances lined up, per their website:

Now Performing…

First up, Justin Timberlake. He’s one of the headliners to perform his Oscar-nominated song “Can’t Stop this Feeling” from the movie Trolls. This is his first nominee for an Academy Award, though he did have a part in the Oscar-winning 2010 film The Social Network.

Next, John Legend. The piano man will perform two songs, both from La La Land: “Audition (The Fools Who Dream)” and “City of Stars.” Legend won an Oscar in 2014 for his original song “Glory” from Selma.

Sting is all set to sing the Oscar-nominated song “The Empty Chair,” which is from Jim: The James Foley Story. He’s racked up three nominations in his career for his songs featured in Cold Mountain, Kate & Leopold, and The Emperor’s New Groove.

Lin-Manuel Miranda will be joined on stage with Moana voice actress Auli’i Cravalho to perform the nominated song “How Far I’ll Go” from the newest Disney animated flick. Even though Miranda’s been a massive success on Broadway, this is his very first Academy Award nod, and at this rate he’s on track to lock in an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony).

In Memoriam

Finally, the “In Memoriam” section of the Oscars is always a tear-jerker. We’re just learning that songstress Sara Bareilles will perform as we take a look back at those we’ve lost in 2016. This year’s tribute will probably be the saddest of them all, since we lost so many great people last year. David Bowie, Prince, Gene Wilder and Carrie Fisher are just a couple of the names we’re expected to hear.
