Heidi is wearing the most 80’s jumpsuit that ever 80s’d. Nina Garcia and Zac Posen both showed up for work today. There are two guest judges. One is Priyanka Chopra, who is here to hawk her failing series Quantico, and also the upcoming Baywatch movie. The other is Marchesa designer, wife of Project Runway producer Harvey Weinstein, and all around owner of this joint Georgina Chapman, who must need to train herself in “how to show up for work” before Project Runway: All Stars starts.

Laurence: Her unconventional look looks like…well schmutz glued on stuff. But the fact that it was hers stuns the judges, and in a good way. I think the complete departure from leather and her usual showers was the key factor. Zac calls it Xena Warrior Birdseed, but everyone else loves it. Her conventional look is a throwaway with oddly seamed shoulders, but not in a big way. In fact, in a pinched in way, which is her going in the other direction. Heidi calls it boring, but Georgina and Nina loved it.

Erin: Her first look is much improved for being forced out of her big shapeless cocoon comfort zone. It’s almost 1950’s cute, if the entire thing didn’t make her model walk like she was afraid it was all going to fall off. The judges overlook the fact that the model walked like that and fall over themselves to praise it. Her second look would be an Anya pyjama special from Season 9 if the legs were wider cut. Six years later, the judges still love an Anya special, and several suggest they would wear it home if it were for sale. Only Nina points out Erin could have done more.

Roberi: OMG it worked! The rope look worked! Screw you judges, I don’t care what you think, it worrrrrked. The second look is really sort of random though. It’s not bad, just random fabric choices. Thankfully the judges completely agree with me. Heidi calls the unconventional dress gutsy. Zac is bowled over. They all love the conventional look and can see how the two relate in terms of line. Only Georgina is too uptight to deal with the rope nudity factor. But she is overruled, and he is the very deserving winner of this challenge.

Rik: His unconventional look looks like it’s made from real fabric. You can’t tell it’s smashed LPs and dog leashes and whatever else. The judges are over the moon over this…but nothing else. Zac loves the texture of the top, and calls it impeccable made, but the bottom he considers a disaster. The conventional look is still junior, but not country bumpkin. Nina says she couldn’t tell which was which, but that’s not really a compliment, since she didn’t love them, especially the conventional. Heidi looks sad. Georgina hates the dog leashes.

Cornelius: His unconventional look still looks like a paper creation by a 11th grader. His second look is finished, and that’s literally the best that can be said for it. The hem length is godawful, the cut is severe, and the shoulder are ill fitting. The judges initially praise it on the runway, and it seems like yet again Tim’s Saved Contestant™ will be forced through, despite being actually the worst up there.
