Tyson drops new Razorback Nuggets ahead of back to school
August is here and it's back-to-school season. While students are bemoaning having to go back, Tyson Foods is giving us a silver lining.
Since college football season is about to begin as well, Tyson Foods decided to pay homage to the University of Arkansas and its iconic hog mascot. These Razorback Nuggets are sure to be in many a freezer of those who live both on and off campus at the University of Arkansas.
While this is a clear winner for Razorback fans, any chicken nugget fan will want to get their hands on these. Plus the fun shape is sure to appeal to kids as it can be an easy dinner, a quick after-school snack or something to bring to lunch the next day.
Regardless of your college football fandom, there is no denying that Tyson Foods could be starting a trend with this new launch.
Tyson Foods launches Razorback Nuggets just in time for school.
If you're a Razorbacks fan, then you're in luck. In the press release shared with Culturess: "They can be found in the freezer aisle of select Walmart stores in early August and select Sam’s Club locations in September." While they might not be in your local store, these are definitely worth trying if you live in Northwest Arkansas and Missouri or know someone who does and is willing to grab a bag or two for you.
The other thing the press release mentioned is that these would be great for eating on game day and honestly, that's something I've never thought about. Whether you're planning to have friends over, are tailgating, or just need a quick snack before the game, Razorback Nuggets are the ultimate treat. Who knows? Maybe eating them before the game will be exactly what you need to stay fueled up to watch all four quarters.
Given Tyson Foods' other amazing nugget shapes, these Razorback Nuggets are one that fans are going to be on the hunt for. One of my favorites is always the heart-shaped Valentine's Day nuggets and who can forget the Spooky Nuggets? No matter if you find the Razorback Nuggets near you or not, Tyson Foods is a great pick for chicken nugget lovers of all ages.
