This Actor Is Rumored To Replace Jonathan Majors As Kang The Conqueror
Jonathan Majors made his MCU debut with Loki Season 1, where he played He Who Remains, a variant of the franchise's new baddie, Kang the Conqueror. Following this, the audience learns more about his villainous character in Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania, showcasing his deadly powers and twisted motives, along with a glimpse of the Council of Kang in the mid-credit scene. Recently, Majors portrayed Kang's new variant, Victor Timely, along with He Who Remains in Loki Season 2, too.
Nevertheless, his MCU career was short-lived, following the recent reports of him being let go by Marvel Studios in the wake of being found guilty of harassment and assault. This news has thrown his character’s future into uncertainty. Marvel Studios has also dropped the name Avengers: The Kang Dynasty; now the project is simply called Avengers 5, with no details on which antagonistic character will be the focus of it.

John David Washington is rumored to be in contention for the role of Kang the Conqueror, as reported by industry insider Daniel Richtman. Earlier, there were also reports about Euphoria actor Colman Domingo being considered to replace Majors. However, Domingo has already provided an update on the rumors in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He said:
"I don't know how much is true. I'm always looking at what I have to do right now... I can't tell if it's true or not, even from my team."
