These 5 upcoming releases played in front of Deadpool and Wolverine

Deadpool & Wolverine opened widely in theaters on July 26th. The Marvel Merc with the smart mouth Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) team up with the claw-blazing mutant Logan also known as Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). Canadian film director Shawn Levy will bring his directorial vision to Deadpool & Wolverine as Levy did with the 2021 video game comedy Free Guy.   

Crowded audiences swarm inside the auditorium for Deadpool & Wolverine for the first day, here are the five anticipated upcoming releases that played in front of Deadpool & Wolverine.

1. Cuckoo (August 9)

Before, the opening credits of Deadpool & Wolverine, the producers that brought us Longlegs to invite us into the life of a 17-year-old young woman who is shown in the trailer as physically injured and mentally stressed. The film title alone and the preview represent what we, the audiences can expect when Cuckoo arrives on August 9.

2. Speak No Evil (September 13)

Blumhouse producers of Get Out and many other favorites come a hair-raising thriller starring BAFTA award-winner James McAvoy (Split, Glass) as an estate owner who is haunted by darkness. Alongside McAvoy is Mackenzie Davis, SAG award-winner and A Quiet Place Part II star Scoot McNairy, and Riverdale's Alix West Lefler, accepts the weekend holiday invitation. What begins as a vacation becomes a warped psychological nightmare.

3. Joker: Folie A Deux (October 4)

Writer-director Todd Phillips's second installment to the 2019 crime thriller Joker dropped a second trailer just days ago for Joker: Folie à Deux. It was obvious that Joker: Folie à Deux's second trailer would play in front of the Deadpool & Wolverine crowd. One seated audience member had positive reactions, but there were some mixed ones. The same can be said about the two films that were mentioned.

4. Alien: Romulus (August 16)

With the success of the Alien franchise, Alien: Romulus is the latest addition to the Alien franchise. It arrives on August 16 and there were a lot of mixed audience reactions that were hesitant towards the final trailer.

5. Captain America: Brave New World (Out Feb. 14, 2025)

This trailer dropped recently and of course, Captain America: Brave New World is the next Marvel release after Deadpool & Wolverine. The newest installment to the Captain America storyline focuses the center on Sam Wilson's arc which plays a connection to the comics, and will arrive next year on February 14, 2025.
