2024 has barely begun and everyone is already talking about the biggest romantasy titles in the game. One of those is easily Crescent City: House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J Maas.

If you've been living under a rock or don't follow any BookTok accounts, then you might not realize how big Sarah J. Maas really is. The author has written many beloved and incredibly popular fantasy romance series.

Her latest is obviously the Crescent City series which began with House of Earth and Blood followed by House of Sky and Breath. Then on January 31st, House of Flame and Shadow was released which also gave us the new Walmart exclusive edition.

Given how much hype is around exclusive editions and this series in general, there's no way I wasn't going to feature it. Plus this entire series has become something even bigger than any of us ever thought so let's break it down.

The Walmart exclusive edition of House of Flame and Shadow features an: "exclusive bonus scene featuring Bryce, Nesta, and Azriel as they discover more about each other's worlds." In addition, one thing to note is that the Walmart exclusive edition sticker is removable as shared via the brand's website. As a reader, I know how frustrating that can be.

Regardless if you're interested in either collecting some other editions or want to read that bonus scene, then it's time to plan your next trip to Walmart. Considering that Walmart is bound to be cheaper than other stores, the price and the bonus content might just be worth the trip.
