Rihanna shines as Dior's new J’Adore icon in mesmerizing golden campaign

The latest campaign for Dior’s J’Adore perfume is now rolling out as Rihanna, the lovely international celebrity, poses for a Dior campaign film created by Steven Klein. This could be a good moment for both the singer and the luxury brand as Rihanna replaces a pretty famous personality of Charlize Theron.

The one-minute video shot at the most famous Palace of Versailles shows a 36-year-old singer in a fabulous golden dress that reflects the spirit of J’Adore – the strength and beauty of a woman. In heels, she glides through the palace’ corridors and it seems as if she does not even touch the floor. Rihanna’s hypnotizing power walk is empowered by her song “Love on the Brain” released in 2016.

The movie that was released on September 1st has the slogan “Your dreams, make them real” which complements both the idea of J’Adore and Rihanna’s collaboration with the brand beautifully. The official video on YouTube channel of the French fashion house’s says of the partnership: "A new golden dream starts here," with Rihanna embodying that victorious, joyful character of big Dior Advertising.

This is not the first time Rihanna is partnering with Dior as she was appointed as the house’s first black spokeswoman in 2015. The latest of them is a position as a print model for J’Adore, and the singer says she feels closest to this perfume. “This scent, which I have been using for such a long time, is so important to women,” the Bajan beauty said in a statement and she described it as: ‘it is more than a perfume, it is a companion and a reference’.

The original scent of Dior is J’Adore; it has a blend of flowers and fruits where sweet like ylang-ylang, Turkish Damascus rose, jasmine grandiflorum, and Indian sambac jasmine making it a strength of women all over the world. As we witnessed in Rihanna’s tweet, the fragrance is ready to carry on the theme of encouragement and self-acceptance.

As Dior said it when presenting the new initiative, J’adore and Rihanna are truly claiming a new golden dream which is far brighter than before.
