Despite all the hype and love for Raising Cane's, it's hard to believe the chain hasn't been around for longer than 28 years.

In honor of the first Cane's being opened 28 years ago, the chain decided to celebrate its Golden Birthday in a big way. For those who don't know, a Golden Birthday is a birthday when you're turning the age on that same day. For Cane's, it was turning 28 on the 28th and it was also the 828th restaurant opened.

This one-of-a-kind Cane's opened up in downtown Boston and was an absolute sight. Cane's pulled out all of the stops for the event including some celebrity guests, a musical performance, and a cake to resemble Raising Cane's III. Honestly, it looked like an amazing time and I'm truly sad I wasn't able to make it this time.

Even so, the event wasn't just about adding a touch of gold to Cane's but instead was focused on just how much the brand could give back.

Raising Cane's makes a huge pledge for its Golden Birthday.

If you're already familiar with Cane's, you'll know just how much the company gives back. It got even bigger for the brand's Golden Birthday. In a press release shared with Culturess: "Today, August 28, Raising Cane’s is celebrating its 28th birthday with 828 golden prizes and the opening of its 828th restaurant in Boston to kick off a year of golden moments beginning with a pledge to give back $28M to local communities throughout the coming year." As you can see, Todd Graves and his team are continuing their goal to help out as many people and communities as they can.

While Cane's is giving back to the community, it's also giving back to its customers. With over 800 different giveaways, fans can enter this website for a chance to win some incredible prizes. Some of the prizes include gold bars, golden necklaces, and a golden ticket to meet Todd Graves and visit the "The Mothership" which is the first Raising Cane's. As you can see, Raising Cane's didn't spare any expense with prizes either.

As someone who always loves Raising Cane's, this only makes me appreciate the company and its team even more. It's so special to see Todd Graves so active and out there among the people. For the most part, it feels like fast-food chains never do that. Seeing Graves do that and talk so openly about his love for helping people and chicken tenders is refreshing. Plus I've met him and he's such a laidback and fun guy so I'll always root for him.

Aside from the giveaways, Raising Cane's went all-out for its Golden Birthday in Boston with some incredible decor. Basically, the entire restaurant is outfitted with gold everywhere. Whether it's the walls, cabinets, or even the merch, everything is golden. I'm including a photo below so you can see just how amazing it looks. Cane's also invited some of Boston's greats such as David Ortiz aka Big Papi, JVKE, and Jrue Holiday. When one thinks of Boston, no doubt that those three come to mind.

If you're close to Boston, then why not stop in and see it? Raising Cane's always commits to a theme and this location is bound to be luxury at its highest. Plus I'm always on the hunt for more Raising Cane's merch because the brand always has fun shirts, stickers, and loads of other things to showcase your love for Cane's. All in all, this is another win for Cane's and for all of us who love Raising Cane's.
